Crocs Quest
I worked as Art Lead on the Crocs Roblox experience, Crocs Quest, for approximately eight months, contributing from early pre-production through to final delivery. This was a full-lifecycle project - requiring visual foundations to be established early and carried consistently through to launch.
The experience translated Crocs’ bold, playful brand identity into an interactive Roblox environment. The goal was to create a world that felt unmistakably Crocs: expressive, colourful, accessible, and instantly readable within the platform’s stylised constraints.
My role combined hands-on 3D production with being an Art Lead, ensuring the visual identity remained cohesive while supporting team workflows and maintaining production momentum.
The Challenge
Crocs’ brand identity is inherently loud, playful, and highly recognisable. The challenge was to channel that energy into a cohesive Roblox experience without overwhelming readability or performance.
The project required:
Establishing a clear visual language during pre-production
Maintaining consistency as the scope evolved
Ensuring assets remained optimised for Roblox
Balancing bold brand expression with technical constraints
Because the project moved from early concept through full production, decisions made in pre-production had long-term implications for scalability, cohesion, and delivery efficiency.
